Wooden Stag Interiors create art-inspired pieces, celebrating the natural character of oak, reclaimed timber and selected European hardwoods. Handcrafted in a small studio in the heart of Dorset, our pieces are inspired by the landscape around us – from our signature oak stag heads to one-of-a-kind charcuterie boards, clocks, lamps and coat hooks.

about wooden stag interiors
Wooden Stag Interiors was founded by Andrew Edmonds, a Dorset-based craftsman with a long-standing passion for working with wood. For over ten years, Andrew has been making oak stag heads, each one individually shaped, finished and paired with carefully selected antlers to create a striking piece of decorative wall art.
Every item is made with close attention to detail, using reclaimed timber wherever possible. The result is a collection of finely crafted pieces that feel timeless, tactile and full of character.
Our work is inspired by the Dorset countryside, traditional craftsmanship and the natural beauty of British and European hardwoods. Whether polished, painted, rustic or refined, each piece is designed to bring warmth, individuality and craftsmanship into the home.

Handcrafted with care, made to be treasured.
OUR CRAFT
Quality is at the heart of everything we make. Each board, lamp, clock and decorative piece is individually worked by hand, allowing the form and finish to respond to the unique qualities of the timber.
We believe good craftsmanship should be felt as much as seen. Smooth finishes, well-considered proportions, carefully chosen materials and honest construction all play a part in creating pieces that are both practical and beautiful.
Deer heads
Our decorative deer heads are among our most distinctive pieces. Made from oak and finished by hand, they combine the sculptural quality of timber with the striking natural form of real antlers.
Each deer head is unique, with variations in timber grain, antler shape, tone and finish giving every piece its own individual character.
Sustainability
These pieces are decorative artworks, not trophies. All antlers are ethically and sustainably sourced from a professional deer stalker employed to manage excessive numbers of Sika deer in Dorset. Through this process, the natural beauty of these animals can continue to be appreciated in a considered and respectful way.
