Art-inspired woodcraft, handmade in Dorset

Gallery

Explore a selection of handmade pieces by Wooden Stag Interiors. Each item is individually made in Dorset using carefully selected timber, with a focus on quality, character and craftsmanship.

Please note that many pieces are one-off or made in small numbers. If you see something you like, or would like a similar piece made to order, please get in touch.

deer heads

Our decorative deer heads are among our most distinctive pieces. Made from oak and finished by hand, they combine the sculptural quality of timber with the striking natural form of real antlers.

Each deer head is unique, with variations in timber grain, antler shape, tone and finish giving every piece its own individual character.

These pieces are decorative artworks, not trophies. All antlers are ethically and sustainably sourced from a professional deer stalker employed to manage excessive numbers of Sika deer in Dorset. Through this process, the natural beauty of these animals can continue to be appreciated in a considered and respectful way.

serving boards

Handmade charcuterie and serving boards, crafted from oak and selected hardwoods.

Each board is designed to showcase the natural grain, colour and texture of the timber, making it ideal for entertaining, gifting or everyday use. No two boards are the same, giving each piece a distinctive and individual quality.

coat hooks

Handcrafted wooden coat hooks made from oak, reclaimed wood and other European hardwoods.

Designed to be both functional and decorative, each is individually made with attention to proportion, finish and timber character. These pieces are suited to boot rooms, kitchens, hallways and studies.

other pieces

In addition to our regular collections, we produce a range of other handcrafted items, including coat hangers, decorative pieces and occasional one-off works.

Our use of new and reclaimed timber means the collection is always evolving. Some pieces are made from particularly characterful boards, offcuts or salvaged timber, allowing beautiful materials to be given a new life.
